What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am currently serving as our FFA chapter president and FCCLA chapter co-president, but also am involved in track, volleyball, Student Council, NHS, school play, yearbook, and newspaper. In the community, I am involved in 4-H and the Emery Development Committee.
Do you have any hobbies outside of school?
Outside of school, I enjoy eating Italian food, watching Chopped and The Office, camping and water skiing, and traveling.
What are your plans for after high school?
After High School, I plan to attend Northern State University (not 100% sure on a major yet) before law school where I will study family law.
What is your favorite part about high school?
My favorite part about high school would be the organizations we offer. FFA, FCCLA, HOSA, NHS, Student Council, you name it I have been a part of it. Organizations tailor to many different types of people all with different interests and strengths; and they have the ability to teach key leadership skills, allow students to meet new people and travel to new places, and open up a world of opportunity to learn about a variety of subjects and complete community service projects.
What is your favorite school memory?
My top two favorite high school memories were PR-ing at the 2018 state track meet when my team re-broke our school record in the 3200-meter relay or getting to travel to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN, three times.
If you could give advice to an underclassman, what would you say?
Dual credits are an AMAZING thing! Take advantage of them. Also, it is better to start taking your ACT sooner rather than later.
