The teams who competed in the tournament were Ethan, Canistota, Irene-Wakonda, Hanson, Chester, Warner, Bridgewater-Emery, Scotland and Menno. The tournament consisted of pool play and then moving to a bracket tournament based on pool record.
“Overall, the team played well at our tournament. We kept our heads up and kept on rolling. It was a long day of volleyball, but we managed to pull through, having more wins than losses,” senior Jada Wethor said.
The Huskies first took on Scotland and Chester in pool play. The sets against Scotland were 25-11 and 25-20, coming out on top with a win for the Huskies. The sets against Chester were 17-25 and 15-25, coming just short of a loss against the Flyers.
